 Hello Kristin! 

Our experience with Kristin was the best part of selling our home and buying a new one.  She is the consummate professional and this really surfaces when you begin working with her.  Many times my husband and I have made comments to each other that she holds herself to a higher standard than the rest.

Kristin is an excellent communicator and there was never a time when Todd and I did not have a clear picture from her as to what was happening.  She answered all the questions we had concerning both transactions in a clear, understandable manner.  I personally had trouble with the HOC (Home of Choice) and she explained this several times until I finally understood.   In the 4 months it took to sell our house, we had constant communication from her.  There was never a point throughout our transaction that we left word for her to contact us, that a call or e-mail was not returned in a timely manner.  Whether she was showing us how many hits we had on our house, comments from prospective purchasers, comps, SOLD information around our search area or updates with new homes in our price range, Kristin was always in front of us.  When we got discouraged with the market and it felt as though we would never sell our house, she came through with humor and a lucky statue to bury in our backyard!

Also as important, Kristin is a good listener.  We were not shown houses that did not meet our criteria and as a result found a house quickly.  She remembered things that were important to us and would point out features that I never would have noticed (both good and bad) so we could make an educated decision on a house.  I was amazed at the knowledge she possessed at her fingertips about paint, carpeting, gas vs. electric, the age of a home, roofing, smelly carpeting, hot water heaters, dishwashers – you name it, she knows it.  I can’t tell you how many household hints I’ve picked up.

One thing that I learned in doing business with Kristin, is that she surrounds herself with good people that are trustworthy and professional.   How reassuring for me to discover that everyone who she recommended was a pleasure to work with and knows what they’re doing.  Both Kristin and the people she recommends are on time which is important when working couples are involved.

Kristin is also a sharp business woman.  It was very apparent from the start that she was in charge of organizing the whole transaction for all involved.  She was in constant communication with the buyer’s agent, the seller’s agent, and our loan officer to make sure everything that needed to be done, was done before closing.  During our closing, Kristin double checked the figures and discovered a $2,000 error in our favor.

I can sum up the difference between Kristin and the competition by what happened at our closing.  We were scheduled to close less than a week before Christmas at 11:00 am.  Unfortunately we were delayed, but were reassured that we would close that day.  Kristin had plans to drive out of town to celebrate Christmas with her sister that evening after the closing.  She cancelled her trip to make sure our closing went smoothly – the packages from her out-of-town relatives she was bringing would have to be mailed and Christmas would be celebrated at a later time.    I was shocked that anyone would do that!  We completed the purchase at 7:00 p.m. and Kristin, throughout this unplanned change of events, still maintained her professional manner and sense of humor.

These comments only touch the surface on how I feel about Kristin, her work ethic, and the positive experience she creates for her clients.
